Michael Kenna (British, b) is a photographer who was born in Widnes, England, and is best known for his photographs of black-and-white landscapes. In his early years of education, he attended the Banbury School of Art, where he took up studies in painting and photography. He later became a student at the London College of Printing, where he began working as an artist and a photographer. Kenna is one of five children born to Irish-Catholic parents. Veleposlanstvo Sjedinjenih Američkih Država u Bosni i Hercegovini uputilo je danas dopis Ministarstvu vanjskih poslova BiH, obavještavajući ga da se zahtjev za imenovanjem Douglasa Jonesa za američkog veleposlanika u BiH povlači, prenio je Avaz.
Daljnja objašnjenja nisu dana, ali je Veleposlanstvo SAD-a istaknulo najviše poštovanje prema Ministarstvu vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine. Douglas Jones bio je prijedlog bivšeg predsjednika SAD-a Joea Bidena za novog američkog veleposlanika u BiH.
Međutim, dolaskom administracije Donalda Trumpa, njegovo je imenovanje vraćeno u Bijelu kuću na odlučivanje predsjedniku SAD-a, nakon što je istekao prethodni rok za proceduru.

Ziemlich genau vor drei Jahren erschien mit dem Bildband Nostalgia meine persönliche Liebeserklärung an ein Land, das mich vom ersten Moment an sehr beeindruckt hat.
