Born in India's tinseltown Mumbai & brought up in Bangalore India, Anaitha Nair is a woman of many talents. From academics, stage acting & music she always had a flair & passion for cinema & her big breakthrough came in when she was cast as "Aaliya Bose" in the Bollywood smash hit Chak De India opposite arguably India's biggest superstar - Shah Rukh Khan.
After spending 5 years in the bright lights she decided to follow her heart & make a major move - personally & career-wise. She got married & moved to Hong Kong with her husband & decide to pursue her other true passion - hairdressing.
After training at Paul Gerrard in Hongkong under Australian hairstylist Sharon Hadler, she went on to get certified at the Vidal Sassoon academy in San Francisco.
A mother of a 3 year old today , Aaliya is the centre of her life and hairdressing allowed her to opportunity to work as well as be a full time mother which was the top of her priority list.

She was introduced as an extremely smart and tough hockey player in the film. The film brought her to fame and stardom easily. The film revolves around an upcoming National Women Hockey team in India and the ups and downs that such an emerging team has to face.
