The final straw came when the singer went behind his bandmates’ backs and booked Skid Row as an opener for KISS—a move the rest of the group felt was beneath them. Tensions boiled over, and he was out.
Since then, Skid Row has cycled through multiple vocalists, most recently Erik Grönwall. When Grönwall stepped down in , speculation about a Bach reunion reignited. Fans hoped this could finally be the moment Skid Row and their former frontman made amends. But reality? It’s not happening.

Sebastian Bach has made it clear over the years that he’s open to a reunion. In fact, he’s almost desperate for it. In , he extended an open invitation to his former bandmates to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Skid Row’s debut album. Most of them ignored it.

It's a new year and if is anything like , it's going to be full of more reunions, just don't count on Skid Row getting back together with classic singer Sebastian Bach anytime soon. And happiness is a big factor.
"It's not even a part of any sort of thought process," Sabo says of the reunion idea in an interview with We Go to 11 that took place in September (transcription via Blabbermouth).
"This is Skid Row," he asserts, expressing support for the band's current lineup, "And that conversation is 23 years old."
Currently fronting the band is Swedish singer Erik Grönwall, who joined the group last year and contributed to their new record, The Gang's All Here. He's the fifth frontman the band has had since they split with Bach (Skid Row went on hiatus after firing Bach in and returned in without him), but only the second to be featured on new music, the other being the late Johnny Solinger, who died in and occupied the role from through

Whatever Happened To Sebastian Bach?
Like many musicians, Sebastian Bach found a side career in acting. Besides his work in musical theater, he had a recurring role on "Gilmore Girls" as Gil (per AllMusic), which he reprised for the revival miniseries in On the big screen, he's had cameos in films like "Rock of Ages" and "Swearnet: The Movie" (per IMDb). Bach's music and acting careers have also mingled at times; his supergroup, Damnocracy, was the subject of a VH-1 reality series in , and he's put in several reality TV stints since.

One of Bach's most noted performances relied entirely on his voice. In , per the Los Angeles Times, he made a cameo appearance as a member of King Triton's clan on "SpongeBob SquarePants" alongside John O'Hurley and Victoria Beckham. According to Brave Words, Bach recorded his part in , around the same time he was doing voiceover work across town for Cartoon Network's "Robot Chicken." Per TV By the Numbers, Bach's "SpongeBob" episode, "Clash of the Tritons," scored million views and drove up the traffic on to its highest week.
