Milind Mulick Watercolor Paintings
Milind Mulick is famous for his amazing watercolor paintings. He was born into a family in India and his father Pratap Mulick who was a famous painter and illustrator was his true inspiration. His artistic abilities were finely polished from his family environment. He just entered into the world of watercolor at the age of five and gradually he became a skilled artist in this platform.
Even though he received the government scholarship to study art, he decided to study engineering. But after pursuing his studies, his mind was again inclined towards the field of art. Milind mulick watercolor paintings are known for its appealing beauty and simplistic technique. He started doing commercial illustrations and designs. He is known for his landscape watercolor paintings.

My father, Pratap Mulick, is a well-known illustrator and painter. My own artistic ability became apparent rather early. I have been drawing since the age of 5 and I started doing watercolour landscapes at the age of
I received our governments National Talent Scholarship to study art, but I decided to major in engineering rather than art.
After graduation, however, I returned to my artistic inclinations and began doing architectural illustrations and other commercial and design work. I continued painting landscapes and giving art lessons as well.
Recently, however, having reversed these priorities, I am painting most of the time and spending less time teaching and very little in commercial work. I sometimes give watercolor demonstrations in government art colleges in Maharashtra. I run my own watercolor courses at Art2day gallery. I also hold workshops occasionally, and teach a few students privately.
I have participated in many group shows throughout India, and have had 20 one- man shows in Mumbai and Pune. My paintings are in the collection of many private individuals and a few Corporate houses in India, USA, Europe as well as Japan and Singapore.

Milind Mulick
Milind Mulick is an internationally recognized popular Indian artist who’s been working consistently for over 35 years in watercolor.
His writing spans 12 books on art instruction and 5 on watercolor alone, the first of which was published in and sold over , copies. He has also written articles in English and French art magazines such as International Artist, The Artist, Artist Magazine, Watercolor Magic and others.
He teaches regular workshops and watercolor courses in India and has taught over 10, students thus far. One can easily call him the Indian ambassador of watercolor.
He has also taught workshops in Europe (mainly France, Spain, Sweden, Italy), Russia, Mauritius, Singapore, Dubai and Thailand.
He has exhibited solo shows in Pune, Mumbai and other big cities in India, Sweden, France, Spain, Singapore, Mauritius and Russia. Milind has also been an invited participant in many group shows across the globe.
His paintings have been selected for many watercolor society exhibitions including AWS for 3 consecutive years with paintings in private and corporate collections in India, Europe, USA, Singapore and many other countries.

Art brings happiness into my life. To paint on a regular basis I need to stay motivated and this motivation at times comes from browsing through the works of other artists. I admire a lot many artists and hence, through my blog I am making an attempt to share some beautiful works by world famous artists.
