Henry Matthews, English sterling silver jewelry box from (Edwardian era) in repousse pattern, beautifully adorned with floral motifs. It measures 3 7/8'' by 3 5/8'' by 2 1/2'' in height, and bears hallmarks as shown. 

Henry Matthews was a Birmingham based silversmith; his first mark was registered in His office was on Vittoria Street, Birmingham in the Jewelry Quarter. Matthews is particularly remembered for his small silver items that required great attention to detail. Examples of those items are hair brushes, cigarette cases, frames, hat pins, card cases and buttons amongst other items. In Henry Matthews stopped production.

Nathaniel Mills

Nathaniel Mills was a skilled silversmith working from Birmingham in the early 19th century. Registering his mark with the Birmingham assay office at , Mills quickly became known for luxurious Victorian souvenir silverware, much of his work depicting British landmarks and scenes. After his death in , the business was succeeded by Mills' sons Nathaniel II, William and Thomas, who continued to produce exceptional pieces until Working with silver and silver gilt finishes, Nathaniel Mills created exquisitely detailed and often embossed card cases, vinaigrettes, sweetmeat dishes, snuff boxes, wine labels, posy holders, and flasks. Most famously known for these scenic 'castle-top' cases and boxes that were wildly popular in the Victorian times, Nathaniel Mills is a silversmith who is often collected and sought-after by bidders at auction.

Re Samuel Starkey - nephew of Michael Starkey.
I believe I have found his death as per the following items from newspapers:

Kentish Independent 09 April page 8 of 8 - On the 28th Ult, suddenly, at Plumstead Railway Station, Mr Samuel Starkey in his 62nd year.

London Evening Standard 07 April page 6 of 8 stated he was late of Denmark Hill, Camberwell.

In the census his son lived at 9 Grove Hill Camberwell which is a short distance from Denmark Hill Railway Station. His age matches the time we belive he was born and there has been no record of him in any census returns since although his 2nd wife stated she was married in the census - she was in the household of her son-in-law from her first marriage.
