Vijayta Pandit is a former actress of Bollywood most popular for her debut movie, Love story () against Rajendra Kumar’s son Kumar Gaurav. Their first movie was a blockbuster with numerous hit songs. They were romantically involved too, yet parents of both families didn’t approve the marriage. She has also worked as the leading actress of hit movies like Mohabbat () starring opposite Anil Kapoor and Bengali film Amar Sangi () along with Prasenjit directed by Sujit Guha. Her other Bollywood movies include – Jeete hain shaan se, Deewane tere naam ka, Zalzala and Pyar ka toofan. She worked aside Mithun Chakraborthy in Jeete hain shaan se and Deewane tere naam ka.
