I was born on June 11, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I grew up in a family of 9 kids. At least, that is where I lived when I was young. My mother says I never grew up and still act like I was 6 years old. She may be right, but I figure that I act like a very mature 6 year old.
When I was 12 my older brother kicked me in the mouth the day after I got my braces off. He broke off some of my front teeth and knocked me out. My dad says I have been acting strange ever since. My mom says I always acted strange.
I almost flunked first grade and also the second, third, fourth, and fifth; but my younger brother was in the grade behind me, and he was a brain and nobody wanted to have me be in the same grade as him, so they kept passing me. I never learned how to spell, graduated from eighth grade counting on my fingers to do simple addition, and in general was not a resounding academic success.
I did, however, all through elementary school, write poetry. Funny poems, silly poems, all sorts of poems. Nobody thought that was very important, including me. When I went to high school, I didn’t get along with anybody, read lots of books and decided to be

[edit | edit source]Robert N. Munsch is a famous Canadian author of over 40 books who has delighted readers all over the world. His books have been translated into 12 languages and produced on cassette, video, CD ROM, television and stage. He has won numerous Canadian awards.
Munsch was born June 11, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a middle child of nine children. On his website he said that he didn't do well in elementary school, but he wasn't held back because he had a smart younger brother in the grade behind him and they didn't want them in the same grade. Robert Munsch was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 11, He grew up in a family of nine children. Munsch graduated from Fordham University in with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and from Boston University in with a Master of Arts degree in anthropology.
Munsch studied to become a Jesuit priest, but decided he would rather work with children after having jobs at orphanages and daycare centers. In , Munsch received a Master of Education in Child Studies from Tufts University. He moved to Canada in to work at the preschool at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. Munsch also taught in the College of Family and Consumer Studies at the University of Guelph as a lecturer and as an assistant professor. In Guelph, he was encouraged to publish the many stories he made up for the children he worked with.
One of Munsch's best-known books, Love You Forever, was listed fourth on the Publishers Weekly All-Time Bestselling Children's Books list for paperbacks at million copies (not including the million hardcover copies).
